The Re-Grip Sole was created to re-tread the worn out out-sole of any sneaker giving it new tread and grip. It also comes with additional rubber materials that can be customized to plug any holes on the worn out out-sole prior to applying the Re-Grip Sole "Mark I". The Re-Grip Sole has evolved into a passion for helping people worldwide that need sneakers/footwear but have no means of purchasing any.

My name is Will Oviedo, I'm the founder and creator of the Re-Grip Sole. After countless years of running into the same problem of having to throw away my basketball sneakers due to my out-soles wearing out I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and invent a product I can use to solve my issue and save my favorite basketball sneakers.

Step one. Figure out the cause "the why" this is happening. Step two, the effect which in my case was throwing away practically brand new sneakers due to the out-sole being worn out causing me to slip & slide while playing basketball. Step three, the problem. My sneakers were useless, I couldn't play in them anymore and forget about walking on a wet floor, well, not if I wanted to keep my socks and feet dry. 

Step four. The solution, enter, Re-Grip Sole. The concept was simple, if I can glue a rubber patch on my bicycle tire rubber tube to patch a hole then in theory I can apply the same for a sneakers out-sole made from rubber, and, I was right. The Re-Grip Sole application is endless, not only can it be used for basketball sneakers but also for skater shoes, running shoes, hiking shoes, dress shoes, etc... The more I worked on the design the more it evolved to a product that will turn sneaker world on its axis, it's a product that is going to change everything, forever.

I knew if I had this issue others did too. I'm just one guy, I'm not a huge company, I'm just like you. I want to help as many people as I can focusing my efforts on the third-world countries. There are so many things I want to say and things I hope I get to do. I want to restore basketball courts and skate parks everywhere, I want to host basketball and skating tournaments, host charity events where we would encourage everyone to donate their old pairs of shoes so we can refurbish them and give them to people in need.

It's crazy to think, what started as a problem solving journey for myself made me aware of a huge problem and a good cause. It has made me so passionate about helping others worldwide. It's time to get to work. - Will #mambamentality
